ELEVEN SPORTS FLYS HIGH WITH THE AMERICAN ULTIMATE DISC LEAGUE

ELEVEN SPORTS has announced that it will show LIVE and EXCLUSIVE coverage of the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL) in the US – adding more compelling, niche sports action targeted towards millennial fans across the country.

The agreement sees LIVE AUDL events coming to cable television for the first time in the competition’s history. During the 2017 season, ELEVEN SPORTS will air the ‘Game of the Week’ LIVE on all 18 match days, including 13 regular season games and all five play-off games.

The first broadcast will take place on Sunday, April 9 as the DC Breeze host the reigning East Division champions the Toronto Rush.

ELEVEN SPORTS announces it will show LIVE coverage of select events from the 2017 Ciclismo Cup – a series of races from the UCI Road Calendar that feature some of the world’s best professional cyclists competing for UCI WorldTour teams.

The top level LIVE races, which will take place against the dramatic and stunning backdrop of the Italian Alps, will run on ELEVEN SPORTS in addition to the existing cycling content already on air, including the exciting lifestyle and travel themed Mountain Biking show – Mountain Bike Adventures. ELEVEN SPORTS SCORES INTERNATIONAL T20 CRICKET FOR USA

London, March 22, 2017– Just days after announcing its entry into the US market, ELEVEN SPORTS has today confirmed that it will show LIVE and EXCLUSIVE coverage of the Emirates Airline Twenty20 (T20) cricket tournament, a deal negotiated by ELEVEN SPORTS and RDA, making the competition available to 50 million households across the country.

The addition of T20 cricket, with its fast-paced, energetic style underlines ELEVEN’s commitment to bring on board new and exciting niche sports that are tailored towards millennial fans across the US.

The highly-anticipated tournament will feature six international teams playing across two days on 23rd and 24th March. For the first time, the tournament will be hosted at the Dubai Sports City ICC Academy.

Some of the biggest stars in cricket are expected to play the tournament including England internationals Ben Stokes, Mark Wood, Ben Duckett, Liam Plunkett and Ian Bell.

ELEVEN SPORTS EXPANDS REACH IN TAIWAN WITH ENTRY INTO CABLE AND IPTV MARKET

London, February 21, 2017– Pioneering global broadcaster ELEVEN SPORTS has today announced the launch of Cable and IPTV channels in Taiwan, expanding the reach of the network’s top sports action to more fans across the country.

The new channels, ELEVEN and ELEVEN SPORTS, are set to be launched in early March and will reach more than 3 million homes across the country on cable, IPTV and on leading Taiwanese distribution platforms CNS, TBC, and TOP. The channels will run alongside the network’s over the top (OTT) streaming service which has achieved rapid growth and exponential success since its launch in Taiwan in January 2016, delivering almost 4,000 hours of LIVE premium sports content.

In line with ELEVEN’s strategy to deliver sports content that is relevant to the local market, the premium properties that will be available on the channels will include LIVE and EXCLUSIVE coverage of at least 39 games of the 2017 World Baseball Classic (WBC) – the premier international baseball tournament recently acquired by ELEVEN. The WBC is the most watched baseball competition in Taiwan and the fourth edition of the tournament starts on 6 March with the finals hosted at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles from 20-22 March.

ELEVEN SPORTS also announced today an EXCLUSIVE multi-year partnership with Taiwan-based Chinese Professional Baseball League team, the Lamigo Monkeys. ELEVEN SPORTS NETS BUNDESLIGA RIGHTS FOR POLAND

London, February 16, 2017–  Pioneering global sports broadcaster ELEVEN SPORTS has today announced a four-year deal with DFL Sports Enterprises for media rights in Poland to Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 – the top two tiers of German league football.

Except for one match per round, all matches will be shown EXCLUSIVELY LIVE on ELEVEN SPORTS, making ELEVEN SPORTS the new home of Bundesliga in Poland.

The partnership will begin at the start of the 2017-18 season meaning football fans in Poland will have LIVE access to all matches across the two leagues which feature some of the biggest names in Polish football including, FC Bayern München’s star striker Robert Lewandowski, Borussia Dortmund’s Łukasz Piszczek and Wolfsburg’s Jakub Błaszczykowski. LIVE matches will also be complemented with news, highlights and comprehensive analysis.

The acquisition of more premium rights for ELEVEN SPORTS in Poland highlights the network’s revolutionary success in the market which has been built on an extremely strong portfolio of tier one rights and an acclaimed tailored strategy for localised content.
