ELEVEN SPORTS ADDS LIVE AND EXCLUSIVE AUDIO COMMENTARY FOR THE PREMIER LEAGUE

With under three weeks to go until the start of the 2017/18 season, ELEVEN SPORTS has entered an agreement with talkSPORT to bring EXCLUSIVE audio coverage of the English Premier League to fans in Singapore.

The agreement means that ELEVEN SPORTS will stream live audio commentary for all 380 Premier League matches in English and up to 190 matches (5 matches per week) in Mandarin commentary. The audio deal is innovative and establishes ELEVEN as the leading player and the go to destination for fans on the move seeking audio coverage of one of the world’s most coveted domestic leagues.

Premier League audio commentary has proved hugely popular globally. As well as reaching a fanbase that is not able to watch the match, audio commentary provides a unique way to experience the action, with vivid play-by-play commentary and detailed insight and analysis.

ELEVEN SPORTS SECURES RIGHTS TO GFINITY ELITE SERIES ACROSS ALL MARKETS

Pioneering global broadcaster ELEVEN SPORTS has agreed a deal with leading esports company Gfinity to bring LIVE and EXCLUSIVE competitive video gaming action from the Elite Series to fans across all seven of its markets.

Gfinity’s Elite Series aims be one of the most innovative, engaging, entertaining and technologically advanced esports platforms in the world, bringing together eight professional franchises competing across three games; Street Fighter V, Counterstrike:GO (CS:GO); and Rocket League.

The eight teams, which include Team EnVyUs, an American team who were recently crowned International Team of the Year at the Esports Industry Awards, and Epsilon Esports, who are Belgium based competitive gaming veterans with one of the top European CS:GO teams, face off in the Elite Series with each having drafted top amateur talent into their roster from the online Gfinity Challenger Series.

This means the very best teams and players are competing in a 7-week regular season featuring round robin league fixtures, followed by semi-finals and finals. All matches are being held at the Gfinity Esports Arena in Fulham Broadway, London.

Gfinity also has plans to extend the Challenger Series and Elite Series into new markets as part of the next stage of the development of the product. ELEVEN SPORTS TO SHOWCASE 24 HOURS OF ZOLDER EXCLUSIVELY LIVE

ELEVEN SPORTS subscribers in Belgium and Luxembourg will have a front row seat to the prestigious 24 hours of Zolder – one of five races from the Belcar Endurance Championship that the pioneering global broadcaster will show exclusively live.

The agreement will see ELEVEN SPORTS show all five races from the Championship for the next five years. ELEVEN will also be the title sponsor for all races meaning the 24 Hours of Zolder becomes the ‘Eleven Sports 24 Hours of Zolder’. ELEVEN SPORTS branding and activations will also feature heavily at each event.

The 24 hours of Zolder – the biggest race in the series – brings together 300 drivers with the aim of completing the most laps of the Circuit Zolder in the space of 24 hours.

The driver roster includes established names such as Anthony Kumpen and brothers Koen and Kris Wauters. Multiple Tour de France stage winner and local hero, Tom Boonen, who participated in a joint press conference which included Anouk Mertens, MD of ELEVEN SPORTS in Belgium, has also made the switch from two wheels to four and will make his debut in Zolder adding some star power to the race.

In addition to live coverage of the races, ELEVEN SPORTS will provide news and updates from the drivers and teams in the lead up to each race. For the duration of the 24 hours of Zolder, fans will also be treated to top-class analysis and insight from the best commentators and pundits, bringing the viewers right to the heart of the action.

ELEVEN SPORTS AND CAGE WARRIORS JOIN FORCES FOR BELGIUM EVENT

ELEVEN SPORTS is delighted to announce that it will partner with Cage Warriors to bring Cage Warriors 89 to Belgium on Saturday 25 November 2017.

The MMA event, which will be the first Cage Warriors event held outside the UK and Ireland in 2017, will take place in the Lotto Arena in Antwerp. Cage Warriors 89 will include a mix of local and European fighting talent, giving the Belgian MMA fans the opportunity to watch the best MMA action on the continent.

ELEVEN SPORTS WIDENS REACH IN TAIWAN WITH CHUNGHWA TELECOM MOD DEAL

ELEVEN SPORTS will reach even more fans in Taiwan with its premium sports action thanks to a carriage deal that will see its channels become available to subscribers of Chunghwa Telecom MOD.

From 1 July, Chunghwa Telecom MOD customers will have access to the LIVE and EXCLUSIVE premium sports events available on ELEVEN SPORTS including Premier League, Serie A TIM, the Emirates FA Cup, Cage Warriors, ATP World Tour 250 Tennis, the World Baseball Classic, Taiwan based CPBL baseball team ‘the Lamigo Monkeys’, the Chinese Basketball Association, and Badminton Asia Championships.

The launch means that the premium action available on ELEVEN SPORTS will be accessible to a further 1.3 million homes across Taiwan. This is in addition to the 4.7 million homes that ELEVEN SPORTS cable channels already reach in Taiwan via some of the country’s biggest platforms including CNS, TBC, TOP, Kbro and TFN.

Both the men’s and women’s tournaments of the 2017 Asia Cup will feature Chinese Taipei teams including local stars Liu Zheng, Chou Yi Xiang, Peng Shi Qing and Joy Pao – underlining ELEVEN’s commitment to its localised strategy to deliver top class content that is relevant to local fans.

The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 in China will be the biggest edition of FIBA’s flagship event with a record 32 participating teams playing 92 games over 16 days. It will be the first time the showpiece event is to be played in China – highlighting the growing popularity of basketball across the region.

ELEVEN SPORTS SECURES LIVE COVERAGE OF EKSTRALIGA SPEEDWAY IN POLAND

Global broadcaster ELEVEN SPORTS has added more speedway action to its rights portfolio in Poland with live coverage of the Ekstraliga – the country’s domestic national league which is considered to be one of the best in the world.

The agreement, which covers the 2019-21 seasons, will see ELEVEN sublicense two live matches every Friday from DTH platform nc+. Sunday matches will remain on the nSport+ channel. This means nc+ and ELEVEN will show 56 matches of the regular season, with ELEVEN showing 28 of those along with the chosen play-off matches.

“The addition of Ekstraliga for ELEVEN subscribers in Poland underlines our commitment to delivering top class local content, relevant to the local fans,” said Danny Menken, Group Managing Director, ELEVEN SPORTS. “Speedway is hugely popular in Poland and we are delighted to build on the very strong speedway content our fans already enjoy. We are committed to showcasing the biggest events featuring the best riders – this new addition ensures we are doing that.”

Ekstraliga joins ELEVEN’s portfolio of Speedway content in Poland which already includes selected matches involving the Polish National Speedway Team, Swedish Elitserien, the Nice 1. Liga Żużlowa and the Speedway Great Britain Premiership.

In Poland, the channels Eleven, Eleven Sports and Eleven Extra are available on satellite platforms and cable networks, including leading operators such as nc+, Cyfrowy Polsat, UPC, Vectra, Multimedia Polska, Orange, INEA, TOYA, Netia, Promax and PLAY NOW as well as several other local cable television providers. ELEVEN SPORTS ENGAGES FANS WITH FIRST EVER LALIGA LEGENDS MATCH HELD IN EUROPE

Global sports broadcaster ELEVEN SPORTS has hosted the first ever LaLiga Legends match to be held in Europe.

The celebration of football featured former stars of the Spanish league and the Polish national team and brought supporters together to produce a vibrant atmosphere and high levels of fan engagement in the build-up to and during the game.

ELEVEN engaged supporters in the lead up to the event by granting full access to the legends with a special autograph signing session which took place at ELEVEN SPORTS Polish HQ at Plac Europejski in the centre of Warsaw last Wednesday.

Real Madrid legend Fernando Morientes answered questions from fans during a Q&A session on Facebook and the pre-game press conference which featured Morientes, Gaizka Mendieta and Fernando Sanz achieved 150,000 viewers on Facebook Live – underlining the high levels of interest, interactivity and engagement with the event.

On the match-day itself, the players and supporters mingled in a specially constructed fan-zone enabling fans to meet their idols and take photos. The fan-zone featured 5 a side matches, FIFA game stations and other activations. A junior El Clásico game also took place prior to the match with former Barcelona and Real Madrid legends Gianluca Zambrotta and Francisco Pavon present to meet and greet the young players.

Other players include Joan Capdevila, Michel Salgado, Fernando Sanz and David Albelda.

The LaLiga Legends team faced a squad of former Polish internationals including the former Real Madrid and Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek, Tomasz Frankowski, Tomasz Hajto, and Michał Żewłakow.

ELEVEN SPORTS has engaged fans with its lean-in, on-air style and helped to significantly increase the exposure of LaLiga in Poland airing 8 games LIVE per matchday across the last two seasons.
