With under three weeks to go until the start of the 2017/18 season, ELEVEN SPORTS has entered an agreement with talkSPORT to bring EXCLUSIVE audio coverage of the English Premier League to fans in Singapore.
The agreement means that ELEVEN SPORTS will stream live audio commentary for all 380 Premier League matches in English and up to 190 matches (5 matches per week) in Mandarin commentary. The audio deal is innovative and establishes ELEVEN as the leading player and the go to destination for fans on the move seeking audio coverage of one of the world’s most coveted domestic leagues.
Premier League audio commentary has proved hugely popular globally. As well as reaching a fanbase that is not able to watch the match, audio commentary provides a unique way to experience the action, with vivid play-by-play commentary and detailed insight and analysis.
“We are excited to bring official Premier League audio commentary to fans in Singapore. This ensures loyal fans who are not able to watch the matches do not miss out, while it also serves as a rich supplementary offer for those watching on TV,” said Danny Menken, Group Managing Director, ELEVEN SPORTS. “We are committed to serving the fans and in addition to covering every Premier League match in English, we are thrilled to offer five top matches a week in Mandarin, ensuring many fans can enjoy the matches in their mother tongue.”
“We’re really proud to bring the passion and excitement of the English Premier League to Singapore fans through this partnership with ELEVEN SPORTS,” said Jimmy Buckland, International Director, talkSPORT. “talkSPORT has the unique ability to provide world-class commentary and expert insight alongside all of the live drama of a 90-minute football match. We can’t wait for a new audience to access the English Premier League in a whole new way.”
Aside from providing an alternative way for fans to experience action LIVE while on the go, the agreement also allows ELEVEN to explore and develop new commercial partnerships.
Live Premier League commentaries and more exclusive audio will be made available to existing Value Pass subscribers at no additional cost, and will be part of the Eleven Value Pass, available from $9.90 a month at www.elevensports.sg.
The audio streams will be available via the Eleven Sports App for iOS, Android, Apple TV, selected Samsung Smart TV’s, and desktop browsers in Singapore.
