ELEVEN SPORTS announces it will show LIVE coverage of select events from the 2017 Ciclismo Cup – a series of races from the UCI Road Calendar that feature some of the world’s best professional cyclists competing for UCI WorldTour teams.

The top level LIVE races, which will take place against the dramatic and stunning backdrop of the Italian Alps, will run on ELEVEN SPORTS in addition to the existing cycling content already on air, including the exciting lifestyle and travel themed Mountain Biking show – Mountain Bike Adventures. This combination of compelling content highlights ELEVEN’s strategy to deliver LIVE races and inspirational lifestyle content creating a go-to destination for all cycling fans across the US.

ELEVEN SPORTS will show 90 minutes of LIVE coverage per day across six races of the 2017 Ciclismo Cup:

  • 17-21 April: Tour of the Alps
  • 13 September: Coppa Agostoni
  • 14 September: Coppa Bernocchi
  • 30 September: Giro dell’Emilia
  • 1 October: Gran Premio Bruno Beghelli
  • 3 October: Tre Valli Varesine

The races, which are produced by PMG Sport, distributed with Oneplayer and organised by the Italian League of the Professional Cycling, will be shown LIVE on ELEVEN SPORTS to 50 million households thanks to the network’s reach in the U.S. through carriage deals including, but not limited to: AT&T, DIRECTV, Verizon, Charter and NCTC.

Ciclismo Cup race winners so far this season include Adam Yates of UCI WorldTour team Orica-Scott, and Diego Ulissi of UCI World Tour team UAE Team Emirates.
